Overview
Manage the near-term and midrange planning requirements related to product flow of saleable and non-saleable inventory. This role works cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Customer Operations, Quality, Warehouse and Transportation. This role will focus on delivering monthly service targets, while maintaining inventory targets in support of our continued growth and profitability.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as primary point of contact to Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers for a specific portfolio of finished goods and components
- Maintain cadence of Open Order Report Meetings with Suppliers to insure current dates of Purchase Order delivery
- Propose risk mitigation strategies for core products and communicate risks and opportunities to Manager, Supply Planning.
- Work with Product Development to ensure artwork phase in/out plans are planned to avoid any supply interruption
- Support as tertiary owner for reporting of goals and in process controls
- Support development and enhancement of tools and business processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.1-3 years of relevant supply chain operations or inventory experience required
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Excel
