POSITION: Summer Paraeducator IA/Out-of-School-Time Assistant (Daycare)8 full time positions available, 4 part time available (part time scheduled TBD)
SCHOOL: Station Avenue Elementary School
DATES: July 7, 2023 through August 18, 2023
SCHEDULE: Summer position only, Monday through Friday
COMPENSATION: DYRSD school year Paraeducator's will receive their same step for the ESY position;Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School Committee and the Dennis-Yarmouth Secretary and Assistants Association located on the DY website.All internal applicants who are interested in this position should apply for this position within 10 days of posting date.All applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring. Additional information regarding fingerprinting including scheduling an appointment may be found on our website. A CORI application must be completed with our Central Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- All staff members will be required to actively participate with children in activities; i.e., swimming, biking, etc.
- All staff members will lead activities and crafts, as needed.
- All staff members will assist in supervision and direction of all students.
- All staff may be required to work one closing shift.
