POSITION TITLE: Substitute Teacher
REPORTS TO: Principal
LOCATION: Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children,
Clarks Summit, PA
JOB
DESCRIPTION: Day-to-day substitute teachers are needed to replace
classroom Teachers of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
in the event of an instructor’s illness or absence.
Substitute teachers are responsible for instructional
programming in academics or Deaf and Hard of Hearing
students between the grades K-8.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree required. PA Teaching Certificate
highly preferred. Sign Language skills required. Act 34,
FBI, Act 151 Child Abuse, and Act 82 clearances are
required.
SALARY: $18.18 per hour
