Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Healthcare Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 30 years, serving those that struggle with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112 bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Roxbury Treatment Center is a STAR LRP-approved facility. STAR LRP is a Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death exceed the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,00 people, as reported by the CDC; or a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of servce would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000).

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Counselor to work on our Substance Use Disorder Unit. The Counselor assesses the patient’s drug and alcohol history, establishes treatment goals, and provides therapeutic and educational services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.

The schedule for the full-time position is day shift Monday - Friday and weekend hours as required.
