We are a Fabrication Company seeking a Structural Steel Estimator/Purchasing Agent, responsible for the review and analysis of material take-offs as well as blueprints.

Responsibilities:

Effective sourcing of Parts and general purchasing to maximize profitability/savings and improved delivery lead-time

Negotiate with vendors for goods and services, negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee

Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and competitive pricing, including terms and conditions

Prepare Purchase Orders and bid requests, place orders and manage open orders, work closely with Receiving Department to ensure receipt of accurate and complete orders that are compliant with the required specifications, including but not limited to; design, quantity and quality.

Minimum Job Requirements:

MUST have experience with Material Take offs

MUST be able to read Blueprints

MUST have Equivalent Industry Experience

Independent Decision Making

Strong Communication and Organizational Skills

Strong Computer Skills

Based on experience salary $65,000+
