Purpose;

Performs the operation of oxycutting bars in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Responsibilities;

Commit with health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk.

Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.

Carry out duties in an effective manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs.

Perform activities according to applicable procedures.

Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy.

Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning.

Attend and collaborate in training activities in order to maintain and increase the company knowledge.

Proactively and ordered workplace.

Abide by Tenaris discipline norms.

Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process.

Main Activities;

Executes change over and set up of the oxycut machine.

Performs machine operation.

Cuts bars.

Identifies and separates alarmed bars.

Manages bars and rejected bars.

Changes continuous casting tools such as blowtorch tips.

Empties scrap containers.

Updates information in the tracking systems.

Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance.

Minimum Qualification for the Job;

Health, Safety and Environment.

Quality System.

Operation On The Job Training.

Product Inspection when applicable

Certification when applicable.

Profile (Minimum requirements);

Completed High School or 5 years of experience in the company or entry level exam approved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.49 per hour
