Looking for a Steel Fabrication Shop Project Manager.
Experience/Skills Required:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with steel fabrication and in management.
- Familiarity with welding procedures and various heavy equipment found in a fab shop.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (email/Word/Excel/AutoCad).
- Customer-service oriented.
- Time management skills.
- Planning and delegating skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Math skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours & create production schedules that meet internal + external needs.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for Fabrication Supervisor.
- Coordinates production schedules with the Fabrication Supervisor.
- Interacts with staff and various vendors to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Complies with all safety requirements to provide a safe environment.
- Oversees and ensures all contract manufacturing items are inspected for accuracy prior to being delivered or picked up.
- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product.
