Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Intermediate

Shift/Hours:

• Day shift is 7:00am - 7:00pm
• Night shift is 7:00pm - 7:00am
• Full-time
• 36 hours/week

Weekend Requirement:

• Saturday and/or Sunday
• 3 weekend shifts in a 6-week period

Holiday Requirement: As needed.

On-Call Requirement: As needed.

Responsibilities:

• Care for patients with lung, kidney and heart related illness or diagnoses.
• Monitor and manage patients with ventilators, peritoneal dialysis, arrhythmias and cardiac drips.
• Provide an exceptional level of care, continuously utilizing critical thinking and a wide range of clinical skills for patients with multiple comorbidities.

Pay Scale Range: starting at $29.25, increases based on years of RN experience.

Must Haves:

• License: RN License
• Experience: 1 year of med/surg/telemetry
• Certification: BLS and ACLS.

Education:

• Associates accepted, but must agree to enroll in BSN program within 4 years of being hired
• Must complete BSN within 7 years.

About the Unit:

• Number of beds: 29
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4 for Intermediate and 1:5 for Acute
• Patient Population: Thoracic, Surgical, Medical and Neuro
