As an accountant you are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the day to day accounting activities of the US facility, Noble Foods Nutrition Inc.

A day in the life:

1. General Accounting & Closing Activities

· Process a wide range of accounting activities: cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger.

· This includes the accounting processing of all incoming invoices and credit notes, entering bank statements and following up on customer payments.

· Check the accounting treatment of cash and jointly responsible for cash management.

· Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and the associated reporting (including reconciliations,)

· Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls, improving processes and procedures.

2. Projects and continuous improvement.

· You have an eye for optimizations and automations, and you constantly strive for better and more efficient procedures and processes within accounting.

· Based on your role and knowledge, you provide the necessary support for ad hoc projects and analyses.

· You support in the preparation and follow-up of the accounting manual and the standard operating procedures for accounting functions.

Your profile

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

· 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or equivalent position.

· Experience with monthly/quarterly/annual close processes

· Experience in QuickBooks Online (and/or) SAP is a plus.

· Familiar with analytical accounting in an (international) company.

· Knowledge of US GAAP.

· Strong affinity with IT and systems, proficient with Excel (Pivots/VLOOKUPS) and proficient knowledge of other Microsoft software applications.

· You have a hands-on & down-to-earth mentality, driven with a strong sense of responsibility.

· You have an eye for detail and are focused on process efficiency.

The Accountant reports to the plant controller.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
