Cashier: Sorter: Pricer: Full or Partime
. Reports to Assistant Store Manager when available and/or to the Store Manager/Supervisor on Duty in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager.
. Ability to work within the framework of the St. Vincent de Paul Society's mission and thrift store objective. It is the responsibility of the cashier to assist the Store Manager in meeting the store objectives by utilization of selling techniques and the responsible handling of cashiering functions.

. Duties:

• Follows Cashier's Cash Handling Policy.
• Provides a sincere, warm, friendly, and helpful atmosphere in filling the needs of the customer.

• Ensures the telephone is answered in an efficient and courteous manner and/or transferred to the appropriate person.

• Maintains a clean and litter-free check-out area and assists other store personnel in the general upkeep of the store.

• Assists the Store Manager in the pricing, stocking, and displaying of merchandise.

• Performs other related duties assigned by the Assistant Store Manager.
• Communicate effectively with fellow workers, staff, and customers.

• Ability to learn and interpret policies relating to the store operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

• POS: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Basic math: 1 year (Preferred)
