Care Access is currently in need of a LIMS Consultant to assist us with the assessment, selection and launch of a platform to support our new Moderate Complexity Lab located in Austin, TX. This lab will support our Decentralized Clinical Trials and ideally will integrate with our Patient Enrollment software to help track and manage our sample collection process from the point of origin at our sites through processing at the lab. Our current lab equipment includes:

Beckman Coulter AU480
Beckman Coulter Access 2
Beckman Coulter DxH560 (Hematology)
Siemens Clinitek (Urinalysis)
Werfen Coagulation Analyzer

An ideal LIMS Platform will integrate with our existing Clinical Trial software, our lab hardware, and will allow us to grow and scale the lab as our organization continues to grow. This will require the LIMS to have:
1. A portal that supports order entry (CPOE) at the site of collection
2. Integrated with the lab so that all is required is to scan the specimen when it arrives in the lab to receive and run it.
3. Once results are verified/released by the lab they go back to the portal to be retrieved and review by the medical staff
4. Compliance with 21 CFR Part 11

Required Experience:

• 5-10+ years of LIMS experience
• Product review / selection experience
• Experience with requirements gathering and mapping those to product features
• Participation in vendor demos
• Experience with both LIMS selection and product implementation/integration
