JOB DESCRIPTION: Experienced Injection Molding Processor
LOCATION: DALLAS, TX
Fast growing plastic injection molder is actively looking for a self-motivated person to fill the following position in a state-of-the-art climate controlled facility:
Injection Molding Processor
· 2-5 year minimum direct experience setting up and processing injection molds.
· Ability to setup & hang mold/tools for new production runs, manage resin drying, compensate machine parameters in process
· Ability to process mold given processing specifications
· Must be able to work within a Quality Management System
· Understand safety procedures for plastic injection molding.
· Understanding engineering grade plastics is a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Basic and/or advanced operation of plastic injection molding presses.
· Tool changeovers.
· Initiate Start-up and part/mold qualification.
· Manage start-ups and production runs.
· Sample new molds and help troubleshoot problems.
· Interface with supervisors, technicians, tooling department, and QC department.
· Maintain and follow quality control procedures.
· Maintain and promote ISO and/or certified quality standards.
· Maintain production and on-time schedules.
· Reduce scrap.
· Follow all company policies and procedures.
