FormFactor is searching for a Senior Director, Facilities and EH&S to be responsible for day-to-day facility needs, and our Business Unit EH&S program in support of state-of-the-art microscale fabrication and manufacturing. This leader will play a key role in expanding FormFactor’s manufacturing capability serving the semiconductor industry. The main campus in Livermore, CA consists of 5 buildings with nearly 100k sqft of cleanroom manufacturing space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead site facilities management, including directing day-to-day operations maintenance, facilities construction, real estate, and physical security for all U.S. sites. Ensure continuous processes for 24/7 emergency repairs and response to allow for continuous building and facility operations. Oversees the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management. Ensures building operations comply with all local zoning laws and regulation
  • Lead the design development and implementation of EHS strategies, programs, policies, processes, systems and training based on industry best practices.
  • Monitor, interpret, and assess existing or emerging EHS laws, regulations, regulatory policies, industry practices, and determine operational and business impacts.
  • Manage contracts, permits, and licenses related to facilities and EH&S, including building permits, contract negotiations, and vendors. Help plan and participate in EHS compliance assessments and audits working cross-functional, assessing compliance with EHS standards as well as local/regional regulatory requirements.
  • Leads overall workplace safety program including evaluating the work environment, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards with the goal of protecting employees, customers and the environment.
  • Develop, manage and administer accurate budget forecasts to ensure engineering and EHS budgets are within goal defined targets. Develop the site facilities annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and management of actual expenses. Oversees contractors involved in facility projects and delivery of services.
  • Hire and direct facilities staff, set priorities, and actively coach and develop staff to meet organization goals and deliver exceptional service levels within the prescribed budget.
  • Assists in preparation of emergency management, business continuity and contingency planning. Maintain disaster recovery plans for physical assets and test the plans as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Fifteen years’ experience in facilities engineering and operations, semiconductor cleanroom experience strongly preferred
  • Five years of supervising employees, contractors, and vendors required
  • Experience in working with business units to meet company goals, delivery projects on time and in budget
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to use a wide degree of creativity and latitude to think differently, challenge conventional wisdom, and drive new best practices
