WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This Sr. Advisor role is the Code of Conduct/Ethics program lead for Santander Bank, US and supports the largest employee population at Santander US. Liaison across departments and other Santander entities to provide sound partnership, guidance and judgement to ethics program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day processes, approvals/denials, advisory and constant monitoring for Outside Business Activities (OBA), Gifts and Entertainment (G&E), Personal Security Transactions (PST), ABAC and Allegations
- Responsible for Compliance Committee, Board and SHUSA required reporting.
- Act as system administrator for third party Compliance technology solution requiring troubleshooting end user functionality and issues while leading efforts in system upgrade in 2023.
- Perform ABAC Risk Assessment annually.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience in Business, Finance, or equivalent degree.
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent field. Pref
Work Experience:
9+ years experience in Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Human Resources or Financial Services
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance, relevant industry regulations and regulatory data sources.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating change to achieve measurable results.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise compliance opportunities and resolution.
- Business Line awareness.
- Detail orientated with the ability to also understand overall strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to be adept in identifying and resolving complex risk management problems.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to build and foster internal and external relationships.
