Brighton Solutions is currently seeking a Junior SQL Writer to join the team in Rockford, IL. In this you will be working under direct supervision while assisting with developing, administering, and maintaining Microsoft SQL servers, clusters and databases.
In this role as SQL Report Writer, you will perform the following key functions:
- Coordinate enhancements and maintenance of databases, as well as structural changes
- Implement backups, maintenance plans and other procedures
- Continually monitor database performance and enhance performances as required
- Documents database architecture - Data Modeling
- Monitor systems and platforms for availability
- Performs data loading and verification
- Other Duties as assigned
To perform this role successfully, out ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work and learn under direction supervision.
- Beginner to intermediate understanding of SQL query scripting
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or an equivalent degree and two years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
