Speech Language Pathologist - FULL TIME

North Port is seeking a qualified candidate to work the PRN schedule. Provides and directs Physical Therapy services, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Aides. Physical Therapists provide skilled services under physicians' orders.
Responsibilities:
- Provides Speech-Language Pathology services to customers and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with department procedures.
- Conducts screening of customers at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
- Evaluates customers to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts evaluations as indicated.
Requirements:
- Masters degree from an accredited program
- Current Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Holds a current CCC through ASHA and meets all requirements for certificate maintenance
- Successful completion or eligibility for the National Certification Exam for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in SNF/LTC
