BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The SPA Administrator I is responsible for SPA core execution; analysis/processing of SPA related transactions, SPA processes/activities, manage complex SPA vendor relationships, coordinate cross functional activities to ensure timeliness of SPA rebate process.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position reports directly to Sr. Mgr of Sales Operations to fully align with the MSC goals and strategies.
- Processes monthly SPA rebate reports and submits to appropriate vendor
- Updates the SPA process and procedures in order to develop consistent practices and drive more efficiency within the SPA Process
- Works with MSC’s sales team on creating special pricing agreements
- Responsible for managing SPA administrative processes between the Sales Team, Product and MSC Vendors
- Work with MSC Sales Team to provide updated SPA Reporting in order to maintain Gross Margin at acceptable levels
- Coordinate all administrative company SPA activity
- Provides SPA sales reporting to MSC executives and sales team
- Creates other SPA reporting on an as needed basis
- Builds internal and external customer relationships via exceptional levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Supports organization with all aspects of the SPA program
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree or the equivalent experience and a minimum of 3+ years experience in a sales/customer service environment are required.
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills are required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and word processing are required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required. Project management skills preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time required
Compensation starting at $48,580 – $69,400 / year and up dependent on candidate location and experience
