Job Summary:
Vocovision is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to work remotely with a school district in Nebraska. As a special education teacher, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) to K-12 students with disabilities. You will work closely with parents, administrators, and other teachers to ensure that students receive the necessary support and accommodations to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

• Master s degree in Special Education (preferred)
• Nebraska state certification in Special Education
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and accommodations for students with disabilities
• Experience working with students with a wide range of disabilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, parents, and administrators

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective instruction that meets the unique needs of each student
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that outline academic goals and accommodations
• Assess and monitor student progress using assessment tools
• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide inclusive classroom environments
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and needs
• Participate in the development of school-wide initiatives to support students with disabilities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and reports
