Career Opportunity - Spanish Bilingual Patient Services Representative / Greeter with The HealthCare Connection in Cincinnati, OH
Our organization is looking for Office Support Staff interested in aiding our patients through the front desk registration process. The position will serve as the “face” of the organization, being one of the first people that come in contact with our patients. We look for a customer-oriented individual who can create a welcoming environment and committed to helping our patients have an outstanding customer experience.
Activities for the role include greeting and registering patients, updating demographic information, verifying insurance, and collecting payments for services. Other duties could include scheduling, reminding, and cancelling patient appointments, working with the Finance department on delinquent balances, and assisting with paperwork and reporting.
The candidate selected will have customer service and data entry experience, preferably with a minimum of 1 year prior experience registering patients in a hospital, ambulatory care or other medical facility. Must be fluent in Spanish/English.
Experience / Skill Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment in a similar registration / scheduling role is preferred
- Must be proficient with computers and able to work with Microsoft Office programs
- Familiarity with electronic health records, Next Gen experience a plus
- Proven ability to function well in a busy environment with multiple interruptions
