The Peninsula New York Spa is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and passionate Spa Receptionist who will be part of a team that assists in driving the revenue and personalized luxury service of the Spa.
Key Accountabilities:
- Providing world class and personalized service to all guests by providing a warm and friendly welcome to all clients visiting the spa.
- Responsible for up selling and scheduling appointments to ensure the spa is fully booked thus maximizing treatment room and therapist productivity.
- Check in and checkout of all spa guests. Taking payments of all guest's treatments and retail items.
- Placing spa and hotel guests’ food and beverage orders.
- Conducting guest’s escorts to locker facilities, Asian tea lounge, relaxation rooms, sun terrace, fitness center and swimming pool to all guests.
- Maintaining and adhering to the customer journey.
- Conducting regular walk through of the spa facility to identify and report any maintenance faults.
- Complete all opening and closing duties professionally and accurately.
- Ensure correct reconciliation of funds at the end of each shift reporting any discrepancies to Manager on duty as soon as possible.
- Immaculate presentation of the spa reception desk by ensuring that all work areas and office space are kept clean and clutter free.
General Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury hotel or spa front of house position.
- Computer literate with knowledge of computer booking system.
- Telephone skills – ideally in conjunction with bookings.
- Worked within a team on a rotating/shift basis.
- ‘Can-do’ attitude.
- Passion for client care.
- Personal interest in treatments and holistic lifestyle.
