Job description
PCMI is looking to hire an experienced Solutions Engineer with a technical background in a client-facing setting who will be responsible for conducting discovery calls with our trained Sales Representative, drafting and delivering presentations, demonstrating the features of the company product, and creating customized software solutions for our clients.
The ideal candidate must be a leader, excelling in communication skills, ownership, creation, and participation with RFP and SOW proposals. The candidate having client implementation experience and a strong technical IT background along with a strong business analyst skill set, will be essential to the success in this role. Warranty industry experience is a plus. You’ll report to the Chief Information Officer.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Ownership, creation, and participation with RFP and SOW Proposals
- Conduct client discovery calls with sales representatives
- Strategize with the sales team to create customized solutions
- Create big-picture software solutions, with a high-level of problem solving skills
- Meet with clients to discuss their hardware and software needs
- Draft and deliver executive level presentations to potential customers
- Design and install customized software solutions for the customer
- Interface with internal teams to effectively resource and project plan
- Highly adept in creation of presentations to get business points acros
- Planning out the effort and timeline for import/conversion of data onto platform
- Testing the performance of the product and fixing bugs
- Developing relationships and maintaining customer relations
- Support the sales team with all technical related queries
- Gap analysis

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
- Previous work experience as a Solutions Engineer
- Familiarity with business hardware and software systems
- Strong Technical IT background
- Client facing/presentation experience
- Strong business analyst skill set
- Project Management experience
- Client implementation experience
- Insurance/warranty industry experience preferred
- Reinsurance knowledge a plus
- Highly proficient in Executive sales PowerPoint deck
- Experience responding to RFP’s
- Sales experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,913.21 - $166,563.18 per year
