Position Summary:
We are looking for an organized and motivated
Solar Field Superintendent for our Solar Operations department. The
Solar Field Superintendent will perform a wide variety of electrical operations duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care to his/her craftsmanship.

- Work with building departments and city inspectors to gain familiarity with certain city requirements.
- Accurately report time sheets of reports on time.
- Train crew members on the proper methods of solar and electrical installations.
- Direct weekly safety meetings and set a good example for job site safety.
- Meet crews at job sites to maximize efficiency and instill good practices.
- Create learning experiences from mistakes to prevent them in the future.
- Change processes and be open minded to an evolving industry.
- Check quality of installed projects.
- Other duties and tasks as needed.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and OSHA requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in construction, preferably in the solar or roofing industry.
- Valid drivers license and ability to obtain driver clearance at Semper required
- Experience interacting with customers
- Previous experience utilizing power and hand tools required
- Previous experience with solar PV installation, roofing, or general construction is preferred
- Previous experience with ground mounted systems is preferred
Pay Rate: $81k
