The Kearney Companies is a Civil Site and Underground Utilities contractor in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. TKC is looking for a Soil Cement Operations Manager to oversee The Kearney Companies’ ongoing soil cement operations and procedures. This position would be responsible for the efficiency, operations, and continuity of the soil cement business. The Soil Cement Operations Manager is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the COO of the company. You will have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an efficient and experienced leader. If you have excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics, we would like to meet you. The goal of the Soil Cement Operations Manager position is to secure the functionality of business to drive profitable, extensive, responsible, and sustainable growth.

• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
• Prepare cost estimates for the estimating department on a very regular basis
• Purchasing of cement and lime rock that meets Florida DOT specifications
• Schedule and coordinate trucking operations for the company
• Establish and implement safety policies for the soil cement division
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
• Oversee daily soil cement operations of the company and work with department heads (Field Operations, Project

Management, Estimating, Accounting)

• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Write and submit reports to the COO and Owners in all matters of importance
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, equipment purchases, corporate alliances etc.)
• Manage relationships with partners/vendors
• Review all estimates and contracts
• Collect money that is owed
