Software Technician needed for the manufacturer of state-of-the-art robotic machinery for the top Fortune 500 companies.

The R&D team is looking for your* expertise* for not only new products but for software upgrades to existing machines for its clients.

Responsibilities
**

• Work within team in design/conception of projects, focusing on programming
• Testing machinery programs after completion.
• Some travel to installation sites and/or emergency customer support, not to exceed 25%.
• Work with software technicians and engineers in R&D
• Provide technical direction when working with Project Engineers
• Work directly with customers on controls/program design
• Provide technical support (via phone and email) for customers
• Other areas include, but not limited to: program installation, troubleshooting, test product, cleanup HMI and PLC programs, update programs.

Education/Experience
**

• Associate’s Degree in Robotics, Electrical, or Controls.
• Skilled in Logic and Programming.
• PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix and/or CompactLogix).
• HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric.
