Position Purpose

Come hone your professional engineering and software skills on one of the most popular video game franchises of all time. As a software engineer, you will work within a remote team and collaborate with our partners at EA Tiburon on Madden NFL. Learn what it takes to thrive in the full product cycle of a large-scale AAA game while building and maintaining a massive content pipeline and game client. Experience required: 2 years of professional software development experience or a graduate degree in CS

Responsibilities

• Write code to implement new features and fix bugs // Full-stack engineering
• Solicit and incorporate feedback from other engineers
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Once you develop domain knowledge, act as a subject matter expert on your team in that domain

Requirements

• 2 years of professional software development experience or a graduate degree in CS
• Desire to grow as a software engineer and C++ programmer
• Communication skills and technical writing skills
• Referencing and investigation skills

Preferred but Not Required

• Passion for Madden NFL and/or sports games
• C++ coding experience
• Professional engineering / full stack engineering
• Full product cycle of build/ship AAA game
