We are searching for a talented software development lead with expertise in DOD M&S Agile Scrum to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team. We are looking for an experienced leader to work with a diverse team of software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to explore and develop solutions on a large development project with challenging deliverables and timelines. The candidate will be expected to integrate into the existing leadership team and assume provide on-site program leadership with the customer. Jointly they will help build and productize a next-generation modeling & simulation framework. Success in this position will require an innovative self-starter that can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Required Experience
- Experience leading software development efforts with 8 or more developers
- 5+ years of experience leading software development efforts using Agile
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to products on schedule and on budget
- Experience with advanced and emerging technology areas such as cloud computing and AI/ML
- Experience with DOD Modeling and Simulation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Atlassian suite
- Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and high-performance computer clusters
- Familiarity with DARPA and the Intelligence Community
- TOP SECRET//SCI level security clearance
