Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking mid-level and senior Software Developers “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the US Navy in Newport, Rhode Island.
Duties:
- Develop web-based applications in Microsoft Windows and SharePoint environments using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net to provide Asp.Net and VB.net solutions.
- Develop requirements documentation for software solutions.
- Develop software functionality for approved and integrate product into production environment.
- Develop software programs for the bulk analysis of computer information.
- Provide systems engineering designs for all developed software.
- Develop customized functionality within the solutions Help Desk environment.
- Assess change request impact on performance, reliability, maintainability, availability, logistics support, safety, and lifecycle cost.
- Develop system maintenance plans and support strategies.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to provide recommendations for establishing Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Requirement Reviews, Design Reviews, IA Assess and Authorize (A&A), Test & Evaluation (T&E), and Production Rollouts.
Experience Requirements:
For Mid-level candidates:
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience providing relevant support to DoD contracts. Navy-specific experience preferred but not required.
For Senior candidates:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience providing relevant support to DoD contracts. Navy-specific experience preferred but not required.
- All candidates:
- Experience with some of the following products and tools: MS Project, MS Office Suite, MS System Center Suite, Visio, SharePoint, Visual Studio, Adobe, MATLAB, STIGs.
- Experience with some of the following languages: .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, Visual Basic, SQL, C++, ASP, HTML 4.0 (and above), Java, Java Server Page (JSP), Java Scripting, C#, Cascading Sheet Styles (CSS), Powershell, VB.net.
- Expert knowledge in some of the following skills: iET Help Desk Software Programming; Oracle Database Software Development; Oracle Databse, Perl, ExtJS Software Development; VB.NET and SharePoint Software Development; SharePoint Software Development; or MS Access Software Development (1).
Educational Requirements:
For Mid-level candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
- Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree can qualify with a CSSLP certification
- Master’s degree (MS/MA)
- One of the following professional certifications: CISSP; or CSSLP.

- U.S. Citizenship required
- Secret Clearance
