TitleSocial Studies Long Term Substitute – 2 positions

LocationSacred Heart Academy

DescriptionSacred Heart Academy is seeking committed and nurturing educators to fill 2 leave of absence positions for approximately three months of the 2022-23 school year. One position teaches world history, AP US Government, and AP human geography. The other position teaches world history and art history. Sacred Heart Academy, an all-girls Catholic High School, is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). SHA provides a global education for every student in every classroom. The IB framework for teaching and learning is research-based, relevant and real-world.

Dates
December 2022/January 2023 through March 2023. Five days a week – Monday through Friday.

RequirementsTeacher certification or currently in progress is preferred. Experience in teaching is required. Candidate should be dedicated to caring for all students; possess the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and have good troubleshooting skills.
