As our company continues to grow, so does our team! We are looking for a fun and creative individual to join our Marketing team through the Marketing Assistant / Social Media Specialist role!

About the Role

Our Marketing team is passionate about what we do and how to increase our brand engagement while working collaboratively as a team. This is where you come in! Are you a creative and energetic individual ready to grow our social media presence while engaging with our customer base? We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of experience in Marketing and Social Media ready to engage with customers across our social platforms.

A requirement for the job includes experience using TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook and creating engaging videos on each of these platforms. This role will play a key part in representing our brand across our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will enjoy being on camera with an engaging personality. In a typical day, you will:

  • Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company's brand.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop social media marketing campaigns.
  • Have an interest and ability to be on camera for our social media platforms.
  • Proudly represent Wonderfold true to our mission and values when engaging across our platforms.
  • Create, post, and schedule content (videos and images) for the company's target market, ensuring that content aligns with customer trends, market changes, and other factors to increase engagement.
  • Analyze and identify strategic weaknesses in the company's digital marketing plan and social media strategy and create recommendations for strategy enhancements.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares and/or likes, while measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs.
  • Be a knowledge expert in social media trends and ensure the company’s marketing activities are up to date
  • Interact with customers via the company's social media accounts. This includes:
  • Responding to direct messages, comments, and commenting on tagged content.
  • Follow online conversations regarding the company's social media accounts and Facebook groups to solve customer concerns using social media platforms.

To qualify for this job, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience using various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Experience representing a brand across multiple platforms.
  • Experience creating short-form videos, i.e., Reels and TikToks.
  • Experience using tools to track and analyze social media platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to research, track, and learn social media trends, tools, and techniques to manage the company's online presence.
  • The ability to uphold real-time online conversations is necessary for this position.
  • Light graphic design, photo editing, and video editing skills.
