We are looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to join Polar's US Marketing team.

As the Social Media & Community Manager you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring Polar’s domestic Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve platform engagement and ultimately drive sales across a variety of channels. You will report to the U.S. Head of Marketing.
You will work closely with our global social media team and colleagues across the U.S., and take a hands-on role on ambassador activations, community and content calendar management, paid media & boosting oversight and everything in between.

What you’ll do:
- Manage and post engaging content for Polar USA Instagram and Facebook accounts with internal and external content creators (e.g., Brand Ambassadors and local Partners).
- Monitor community discussions, reply to customer (and potential customer) comments and questions online, and create positive Polar brand conversations online.
- Build and execute organic social media marketing campaigns (e.g., product launches, brand campaigns, product updates) across Polar’s local social media presences in collaboration with wider Polar Global Marketing, Business Product Management teams, and our subsidiaries all over the world.
- Tap into relevant trends by creating polished, on-the-fly content when needed.
- Set, analyze, and report social media activities and their impact against set KPIs across different accounts, and proactively optimize actions accordingly.
- Work closely with Polar Global and other local social media teams with regular guidance, feedback, and suggestions.
- Develop and implement local brand ambassador and influencer programs that are in line with Polar’s general Brand Ambassador strategy set by the Global Social Media team
- Set, track, and report ambassadors’ and influencers’ KPIs and budget together with our Global Social Media team
- Be proactive in co-operating with various internal Marketing functions and bringing new content and format ideas
What we expect you to have:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in managing large-scale domestic/US social media presences (examples required within the application). Experience in global organizations considered a significant plus.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in managing ambassador and/or influencer programs (examples required within the application)
- Strong understanding of social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube etc.) and social media management tools such as Emplifi, Sprinklr, Woomio, etc.
- Experience in replying / communicating with customers as a brand (whether for customer service or for general engagement).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; highly nuanced communicator and able to influence with ease.
- Skilled at creating social content on your phone (Instagram Stories, Photoshop)
- Good business acumen and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience in translating business objectives into social media strategies
- Superior analytical skills and ability to navigate / work with a variety of digital tools such as Google 360 / GA4, Facebook/Meta and Instagram Ads, and others
- Experience in managing six- to seven-figure media budgets
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Sports Management or a similar relevant field
- U.S. residency
