Job Duties:

• Completing the daily snow report, publishing no later than 7:00 AM on weekdays, and 6:00 AM on weekends/holidays
• Daily snow reports are a vital part of Windham Mountain’s business. The accuracy and availability of the snow report is essential for our guests’ safety and understanding of mountain conditions. The snow report helps drive business to the mountain with accurate descriptions of slope conditions, as well as forecast information.
• Responsible for daily communication with the Mountain Operations team, including snowmakers, snow groomers, and lift maintenance.
• Responsible for updating trail conditions throughout the day, as needed.
• Become familiar with the Windham Mountain trail map and mountain statistics.
• Assist with content creation and optimization of social media channels, with specific focus on Instagram Stories and Reels, and TikTok
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Marketing
• Skiing and riding – you must be an intermediate or higher skier or snowboarder

• Must be well organized, attentive to details, and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Must be versatile and adapt easily to varied job assignments
• Must be an intermediate or higher skier/snowboarder and possess ability to collect photographic and video content while on snow
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with special events, both indoors and out.

Work Schedule and Conditions: Weekends and holidays are our busiest times and availability to work is expected. In general, our summer schedule will be Monday – Friday with weekends off (schedules adjust to accommodate events and holidays, as needed. During the winter season, days are typically five days a week with weekend/holiday hours required.
