The SMT Stager loads electronic components into feeders and helps set up equipment that is used for placing small electronic components on circuit boards. This person will have a strong attention to detail and have the ability to finely manipulate electronic components and it's packaging with the use of tools such as a tweezers.

Job Summary

The SMT Stager is responsible for preparing materials for production and helping set up and change over the production lines. Additional responsibilities include:

• Load and assist with setup and staging of product on the SMT lines.
• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines
• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines
• Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components
• Perform other assignments as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand load plans
• Ability to read and understand production drawings
• Basic component identification skills
• Ability to build electronic assemblies

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

• High school diploma required; college education or business school preferred
• U.S. Person authorization to meet ITAR / EAR requirements
