Midwest Machinery, Co. (MMC), is adding an experienced Small Engine/Lawn & Garden Technician/Mechanic to our Stewart, MN location. This position involves working on a variety of equipment from chainsaws to compact tractors specializing in John Deere.

Responsibilities:

• Provides set-up and repair of John Deere lawn & garden equipment
• Diagnoses and repairs small engines/equipment as needed
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of small engines, electrical, fuel and hydraulic systems
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
