General Position Summary:

Will operate small power tools, lift, move materials, utilize heavy duty cutting torch to cut rebar and various other metals and perform manual labor.

Typical Duties:

· Under the direction of a foreman utilize power tools to torch holes in sheet pile, tighten water nuts and bolts.

- Cut rail, market pockets and drill layout.

- Must be have heavy duty torch cutting experience

- Attaches load with grapping devices, such as loops, wires, ropes, and chains, to crane hook.

- Must have crane rigging experience

· Sets up, braces, and rigs hoisting equipment, using handtools and power wrenches.

Requirements:

· Workers should be able to:

· Direct or plan and activity

· Attain set limits or standards

· Do simple arithmetic accurately and make decisions based on measurable standards

· Physically, workers must be able to see well (naturally with correction)

· Climb and/or maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

· Reach for handle, and manipulate objects

· Lift objects weighting up to 50 pounds or more, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more; and work at heights.
