Title: Signature Verification Clerk

Location: Phoenix, AZ.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Hours: 40 hrs./wk. (Mon-Fri from 8:00am- 5:00pm) and some mandatory weekends as it gets closer to November 3rd.

Type: Temporary (1 month) (Starting on 10/17/22 and Ending on 11/15/22)

Orientation is on 10/12/22 from 9:00am- 4:00pm

Training is on 10/13/22 from 9:00am- 2:00pm

Newkleo is hiring Signature Verification Clerks for one of their clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Duties:

• The Signature Verification/Ballot Flagging Clerk will participate in reviewing signatures on the mail in early ballot packets according to standardized processes and procedures.
• The clerks must be detail oriented and handle high volumes of time sensitive tasks.
• The clerks will assist in performing curing activities and completing data entry for voter requests.
• This position requires strong computer skills.
• Provide excellent communication skills via telephone
• Utilizes Elections software to verify voter signatures on affidavit envelopes with records
• Analyzes signatures and performs other research such as contacting voters directly to ensure the efficacy of mail-in ballot processing
• Responsible for performing curing responsibilities by contacting voters via phone and mail
• Assisting with sorting mail and data entry

Skills Required:

• Excellent telephone skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally when dealing with the public
• Ability to multitask and cope with high-volume and time-critical work environment
• Ability to learn specialized computer programs specific to Elections
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Working on a computer for up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to lift floor-to-shoulder and shoulder-to-waist a minimum of 25 pounds and carry for 100 feet.
• Extensive overtime

Experience Required:

• One (1) year experience of working on a computer
• Must have the ability to visually work on multiple systems (with small font)
• Must be registered to vote in the State of Arizona

Education Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
