Short Order Cook Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Cleans food preparation areas
• Fries, grills, and boils ingredients
• Unpacks and uses sauces and seasonings
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations
• Routinely checks inventory levels and orders new stocks when needed
• Manages workflow to determine the prioritization of orders

Short Order Cook Job Requirements

• Prior experience with relevant tools and industrial cookware is required
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Prior on-the-job training experience is preferred
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Effective communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Able to prepare a wide variety of short order meals
