Position Description – Shipping Specialist

Summary of Position:

Self-starter who coordinates and does all shipping activities. One who is fluent on shipping and billing software systems and accurately while swiftly process customer orders.

Nature of Scope:

Full time position exists within the Shipping Departments of Elevate Oral Care which manufactures and sells preventive oral care products to dental professionals. The position reports directly to the Director of Operation.

Essential Functions:

Accurately, securely and swiftly pick, pack and ship customer orders. Computer savvy and eye for detail in assessing customer orders in system.

Accountabilities:

1. Accurate and swift fulfillment of customer orders.

2. Able to search and print out documents within our systems.

3. The ability to lift up to 50lbs.

4. Monitor shipping supplies and boxes and inform supervisor when they need reordered.

5. Capable of discerning customer information and verifying dental license numbers.

Requirements:

1. Strong computer software skills and aptitude a must.

2. Team player.

1. Associate degree and work experience using computer systems preferred.

2. Self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic, detail oriented and able to multitask.

3. Professional and committed.
