SUMMARY
Primary responsibility is managing incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies, as well as fulfilling and shipping customer orders from inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Shipping Responsibilities
- Operate daily job priorities as set by the Supervisor
- Load and record finished product from the production line into inventory
- Accurately pick parts from inventory, ensuring that SKU’s and quantities match what is listed on the order
- Examine products for visual defects and load into shipping box
- Pack, seal, and label box and prepare for shipping
- Use computer-based fulfillment software to process orders and print labels and documents
- Be cognizant of the age of each order, making sure orders are fulfilled as quickly as possible
- Communicate discrepancies or issues with the Supervisor to ensure continuous production flow
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, aisles, prepping areas and workstations orderly at all times.
Receiving Responsibilities
- Examine incoming shipment contents and compare with packing slips to verify accuracy
- Confer with purchasing to rectify any problems such as damages or shortages
- Record and stock incoming raw materials and supplies into inventory
- Prepare documents to route and distribute materials to production
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors to solve material related issues
SAFETY & SECURITY
- Observe and follow all environmental, health and safety procedures.
- Use equipment and materials properly based on manufacturers standards.
- Report potentially unsafe conditions to Safety Supervisor.
- Comply with all other company policies and procedures.

- Computer Proficiency - Experience using Microsoft Office and/or electronic inventory systems
EDUCATION A high school diploma or GED is required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and speak effectively with coworkers.
