Job Title: Shipping Clerk/Warehouseman
Location: Morrisville, PA

Scope of the Role: Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, oversees and keeps records of all shipping and receiving. More specifically, they are responsible for organizing, sorting, transferring goods from one location to the other. They monitor company packages from the start to finish, ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain compliance with Company and plant safety policies and procedures.
• Completes all annual training as required.
• Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) during the entire shift, to include: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety footwear, etc.
• Prepares UPS and Fed Ex shipments using the appropriate computer system
• Verifies all incoming shipments and notifies the Warehouse Manager of discrepancy’s
• Assists in the warehouse with wrapping, labeling and strapping
• Create picking requirement reports, deliver orders and create shipping documents to ensure on time deliveries.
• Scan and forward completed documents to accounting or other departments for invoicing and/or follow through processes.
• Support warehouse personnel by checking locations in D365 and/or any other systems.
• Contact freight companies and coordinate pick-ups, schedule deliveries and dock appointments with freight carriers.
• Prepare shipping documentation for national and international shipments.
• Performs required daily and/or weekly inventory cycle counts for finished goods, raw materials and pallets or crates.
• Performs semi-annual and annual required inventory.
• Completes Daily Pre-Shift Forklift inspections, and reports any issues immediately to the

Warehouse Manager

• Maintain forklift certification.
• Assist in various assignments and/or duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• Experience using a forklift (1year preferred)
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, which can be subject to numerous schedule and priority changes
• Experience using a computer for communication, printing paperwork and labels, etc.
• Above average attention to detail

Physical Demands:

• Moving and lifting objects up to 50 lbs
• Walking, standing on concrete 8+ hrs/day with safety boots/shoes on
• Sitting/working at a workstation and forklift
• Occasional repetitive movements

Shipping Clerk

Work Environment:

• Works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Climate may be cold or hot depending on outside temperature.
• Exposed to dust, odors, fumes and noise associated with the extrusion and fabrication manufacturing processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
