POSITION TITLE: Shipping Associate DEPARTMENT: 710

REPORTS TO: Shipping Supervisor LOCATION: Blytheville, AR

PERFORMANCE SUMMARY: Works to promote vision and values by safely handling preparation of shipments and material transfers to support shipping and receiving activity within the Blytheville facility.

PERFORMANCE ROLES:

• Safety role – Compliance and participation in safety related programs and initiatives
• Quality role – Assure quality compliance for all areas of responsibility
• Customer Service role – Understands customer requirements. Ensures that the needs of external and internal customers are met on time and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains shipping and receiving processes to promote safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Maintains appropriate record logs (audits, cycle counts, etc.) as directed by Supervisor.
• Assures accuracy of shipments by following the correct established process for material removal and placement.
• Proficient with established picking/ packing methods.
• Proficient with UPS computer shipping system.
• Loads and unloads trucks and vans with appropriate material handling equipment.
• Maintains equipment in accordance to established procedures.
• Checks incoming freight for accuracy and depositions properly.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.

• Respond to plant requests from FAB
• Respond to special shipping requirements
• Stock placement / removal
• Pick special orders as required
• Serve as backup to receiving
• Other duties as assigned
