Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Uniform Supervisor

General Description: Responsible for all inbound and outbound merchandise and utilize uniform inventory management system to provide uniforms for the facility.

Supervision Received: Shipping and Receiving Uniform Manager

Supervision Exercised: Shipping and Receiving Clerk(s) / Uniform Attendant(s)

Essential Job Functions:

• Represents Winstar Casino as primary shipping and receiving uniform contact in transactions involving internal customers.
• Responsible for training of respective employees and assures that each employee has the training and understanding to deal with all customers in the most positive methods possible.
• Supervises and provides leadership to shipping and receiving/uniform department staff.
• Responsible for maintaining lost and found log and ensures policies and procedures are followed.
• Develops and schedules an adequately trained staff and assures that all areas are covered.
• Maintains Garment Inventory Management system which includes effectively maintain par and reorder levels for uniforms, maintains alterations & repairs of uniforms, maintains daily and pickup schedule for soiled/clean uniforms, processes uniform issuance/removal for employees of WinStar Casino.
• Responsible for relating policies and procedures to subordinates, including OSHA standards and practices. Ensures policies and procedures are followed.
• Responsible for comprehension of Data Stream Purchase order report.
• Analyzes, coordinate and manages labor according to volume.
• Responsible for ensuring all merchandise is received into the Data Stream Requisition Inventory system.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

§ High school or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

§ Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to interface with and influence associates at diverse levels with different backgrounds and perspectives.

§ Ability to think and act independently with limited guidance.

§ Project management skills; ability to organize a project into key components and manage progression of the project independently according to an aggressive timeline.

§ Attention to detail, while simultaneously maintaining a broader business perspective.

§ Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.

§ Excellent organizational skills a must.

§ Must be able to read, understand, apply and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.

§ Must be able to work varied hours, as needed including weekend and holidays.

Training and Experience:

§ Two (2) years previous management experience required.

§ Experience in the uniform industry and shipping industry preferred.

Licenses/Certifications/Other:

• Be able to pass a background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
• Complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to be insured and drive a tribal vehicle if necessary

Physical Requirements:

§ Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

§ Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods. Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; requires normal vision/hearing range and basic math skills in order to perform assigned job duties correctly.

Work Environment:

Must be able to withstand hot and cold climates for long periods of time; as well as be able to work in an environment where second hand smoke is present.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.21 - $13.08 per hour
