Talmo & Associates is hiring for a Receiving and Materials Specialist in Minden, NV!

Temp to hire position!

Pay $20-$24/HR

Hours are 7:30AM-4PM, Mon-Fri

Duties include:

*receiving

*inventory control

*staging of materials

*Responsible for reporting all issues

*Responsible for all receiving activities and ensures that the receiving function is

conducted in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with the receiving

procedure.

*Ensures all receipts are accounted for and materials/vendors listed in the weekly

reports

*Ensures that Production materials are properly staged and segregated for inspection.

*Distributes non-inventory receipts to the proper departments in a timely manner.

*Ensures that all receiving transactions are properly and accurately documented

*Notes discrepancies regarding shipments

*Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the storage and warehousing areas

*Ensures that production bins are checked and replenished daily

*Occasionally participates in the cycle counting activities.

*Ensures that parts transferred to the Repair Department are properly documented.

*Ensures that materials required for a manufacturing order and/or sales order are

accurately pulled according to existing specifications and are issued in a timely and

effective manner.

*Ensures that “safe work ethics and procedures” are followed at all times.

Must have:

*Recent Receiving experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

*Computer literate with experience using mrp systems and creating Excel spreadsheets.

*Previous experience with Inventory Management.

*Ability to operate forklift and various hand tools in a safe and effective manner.

*Good oral communication and interpersonal skills.

*Ability to get along well with others.

*Individual must be self motivated and have the initiative to follow through on matters.

*Attention to detail, accuracy, good judgment, and flexibility are a must.

*Physical ability to lift up to 70 lb and push a cart weighing up to 1500 lb.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
