Oberlin Filter is looking for a responsible, hard-working, self-starter who likes to work with his or her hands as well as mind for a part-time position in our Shipping & Receiving Department. This person will work on a variety of tasks throughout the day and must be able to work well with others and independently. Oberlin Filter has been manufacturing industrial filtration systems for 50 years, with systems located in 40 countries world-wide. We are a growing company with a new, clean facility in Pewaukee. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Sort incoming packages and store product properly
- Pull parts from inventory for orders
- Process media orders by using the filter media slitting equipment
- Process orders both manually and on the computer for outgoing UPS, Fed Ex, and Freight
- Backup to Shipping/Receiving and Inventory
- Prep LTL shipments, including building pallets, banding/strapping materials and plastic wrapping
- Drive company truck to pick up parts from vendors in area
A successful candidate will have:
- Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment; detail-oriented
- Ability to pick up and move up to 80 pounds in large rolls
- Good computer skills
- Mechanically inclined and knowledge of basic shop tools and math
- Ability to run large machines, fork-lift and aerial trucks
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Valid driver’s license
- No major driving infractions (5 years)
- 18 years old or older
