HAVEN STEEL PRODUCTS

Haven Steel Products has been a privately-owned company producing spring steel components since 1969. Our company fabricates and heat treats components for the agricultural industry (tillage components), the construction industry (landscaping and mowing components), the trailer industry (leaf springs), and many other clients.

Directs manufacturing operations through subordinate supervisors in order to meet delivery schedules for quality products within customer specifications.

§ Expedite product flow through each work center in order to meet shipment schedules and customer requirements

§ Assure the production or quality parts within each operation

§ Monitor the efficiency of labor and costs of plant supplies and take action, as required, to increase production and reduce production costs

§ Assure that manufacturing costs are maintained within plan

§ Train subordinate supervisors to assure they motivate and control the activities of production employees

§ Participate in the selection and placement of new employees

§ Assure compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements and identify opportunities for improving safety practices

Administer all company policies including: drug, discipline, grievance procedures, safety, etc.

§ Perform other tasks as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
