SharePoint Developer (SharePoint Migration)
Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS) is seeking SharePoint Developers to support a current 2 year contract with the Dept of Veterans Affairs, providing SharePoint Migration. Work will also include creating websites, managing access control, data classification, and document retention schedules and developing forms in SharePoint online. Ability to develop visualizations using software such as Tableau, Power Apps, Power BI, and setting up/managing access controls.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Migration of sites to SharePoint Online
- Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
- Experience with SharePoint and its development framework and tools (solution model, add-in model, CSOM, REST API, SPFx)
- Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
- Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
- Testing and debugging code.
- Reviewing website interface and software stability.
- Troubleshooting software issues.
- Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
Required:
- 8+ years’ work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
- Experience with the Esri JavaScript API
- Experience with React, Fluent UI
- Experience with debugging tools (Chrome developer tools, etc.)
- Experience with version control (Git and GitHub)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
- Knowledge of design techniques (UML, Entity Relationship Diagramming)
- Detail Oriented
- Self-motivated
- US Citizen
