Job Description

Selkirk Off Road is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a service writer. You’re a multi-faceted individual who has a strong understanding and experience in the auto industry as a service writer. You are well rounded and have very strong communication and customer service skills. Above all else you have a positive attitude, humility, and willingness to help everyone on the team. You share passion for the adventure lifestyle and are excited to help meet our customer needs and ensure the whole process runs smoothly. This is a full-time, in-person role in Sandpoint, Idaho.

What You'll Be Doing

- Be the front person for walk-in customers

- Answer the main shop phone to help customers

- Set, confirm, and prepare for appointments with customers

- Determine vehicle needs based on customer information

- Produce work orders including cost and time estimates with full transparency

- Communicate frequently with technicians to ensure timely completion of work

- Provide an exceptional customer service experience

- Following up with customers

- Help with ordering and tracking parts

- Help with organization of project workflows

Requirements

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience as a service writer

- Passion for Overland/Off-road culture

- Proven exceptional customer service skills

- Willingness to help out where needed

- You’re naturally a very organized person
