Service Technician

Job Summary: The Field Service Technician serves customers by installing, trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining all Types of Air compressors and air system components. Daily travel to job sites, occasional overtime and sporadic on-call service is required. You will also need the following requirements,

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Effective communication both verbal and in writing.

Proven mechanical trouble shooting skills. (2-3 years preferred) or equivalent education/ degree will be considered.

Basic electrical skills.

Ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams.

Ability to use a Multi-meter.

Mast have own set of basic hand tools.

Ability to use an I-pad, and smart phone etc.

EPA certification preferred but not required.

Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).

This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
