Job description
Seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to troubleshoot, install, rebuild and repair machines for the food processing industry. Machines include grinders, mixers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and gearboxes. Technician will work on site in Rice Lake, WI and occasionally offsite at customer’s location around the US if needed. Job Summary
Inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs food-processing equipment for the company and customers.
Qualifications :
- Experience building, repairing and assembling food processing machines (Grinders, mixers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems)
- Must be able to read mechanical drawings and use measuring tools
- Ability to conduct field audits and communicate directly with customers.
- Professional demeanor to provide training onsite to customers
- Clean driving record & yearly DOT medical requirements to drive our company fleet of vehicles
- Travel required up to 25% of time, sometimes with little notice. Maybe be required to travel nights, weekends or holidays.
- Some electrical knowledge preferred
- Basic computer skills for logging time and filling out service reports.
- 3 years minimum Mechanical experience with preference given to candidates that are a graduate of a Mechanical, Mantenance or other Industrial degree.
