McComb Window & Door Co., Inc. is seeking a motivated person to fill a Service Technician role for the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Service Technician Responsibilities

· Inspects, repairs or adjusts Pella Windows and Doors in the field.

· Problem solves and diagnoses difficult issues in the field, identifying items that need attention or correction prior to project finalization.

· Replaces glass in windows or doors; Installs items such as window shades, blinds, screens, etc.

· Provides customers with helpful information on the care, operation and maintenance of their Pella products

· Generates and updates all service-related paperwork, collecting customer payment as required

· Conducts any necessary follow up service work or communication to bring resolution to an issue.

· Performs job site walk-throughs and completes necessary paperwork

· Identifies and orders parts over the phone or via fax through the SC Loads assigned service van with all necessary parts and equipment on a regular basis.

· Performs any other necessary task assigned by the supervisor or company in support of company goals or assistance with customer issues

· Meets company safety requirements reporting issues to management.

Service Technician Qualifications

· Dependable work history

· Prior experience with power tools

· Excellent verbal and written English language skills

· Good customer service skills

· Occasional heavy lifting up to 100 pounds

· Valid driver license

· Experience using a smartphone and iPad

· Knowledge of general construction applications (window and door applications preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
