Summary

This individual will be a highly visible representative of the company and will be responsible for maintaining the highest of standards as it relates to the quality of work and a professional image. The individual will support a wide variety of equipment and commercial applications and must be adept and capable to learn quickly (self-learn when necessary).

Essential Duties

• Responsible to complete all work orders and ensuring they are accurate, legible, and completed in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for having the hand tools necessary to do the job
• Company-assigned tools must be checked in and out as needed. This must be coordinated with the Service Manager or Tools Foreman.

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• 3-5 years of Commercial Service Experience
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
• Punctuality along with schedule flexibility is critical. Must be able to work around the schedule needs of CES customers
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of:
  • Water heaters and boilers
  • Automatic flush valves and fixtures troubleshooting and replacement
  • Booster Pumps
  • Recirculating Pumps
• Tool Usage:
  • Drain machines
  • Drain Camera
  • Hydro jetting experience is a plus
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
• Good verbal and reading skills include the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and other CES employees
• Able to read and understand mechanical blueprints
• Must be able to climb, balance on ladders, and stand for long periods at a time
• Must not have fear of heights (Acrophobia)
• Possess basic computer skills
• Individuals must wear safety glasses as required while performing certain tasks
• Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints
• Must have the ability to be "On-Call" and available after hours for repairs. Flexibility and communication with management are critical.
• Successful completion of Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
• Eligible to legally work in the United States

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid Florida Driver's License is required to continue to be employed as a Service Plumber
• Incumbent must be insurable at all times by CES insurance carrier
